| “Nic-G and the Mogsy” is a musical project created in 2004 by Nicola Gardinale (guitarist and composer), who made three acclaimed albums with hard rock/ progressive band “A PIEDI NUDI” edited by Mellow records (A Piedi Nudi-1993; Creazione- 1995; eclissi-1997) in the 90’s. |

| Nicola Gardinale undertook an intense live activity with “ A Piedi Nudi”. The activity culminated in 1998 with the participation in the prestigious festival “Prog Day” held in North Carolina (USA), then following concerts at “Orion Studios” in Baltimore (USA) and “Black Jack” in San Paolo (Brazil). |

| In the last concert “A piedi nudi” was the back up band for the historical group “IL BALLETTO DI BRONZO” at the “Memphis Belle” in Rome in April, 1999. After this performance, the members of “A piedi Nudi” went their separate ways. |

| Meeting Alessandro Zaia (bassist and arranger) and Massimiliano Ferrari (potent and unique voice from the already mentioned “A Piedi Nudi” first incarnation) proved to be important to Gardinale in the current project “Nic-G and the Mogsy” and his artistic development. With this group he was able to create the homonymous album recorded at Ugo Bolzoni’s “New Frontiers Recording Studio”, edited by Mellow records. |

| The album has ten original songs, the spirit of which is a conglomeration of various genres ( blues, rock, funky and pop). The work is innovative, vital and decisively unpredictable. |

Gian Matteo Lucchin at the drums and Claudio Lupo on the keyboard are part of the current formation. Other than the afore mentioned, “Nic-G and the Mogsy” have recorded with:
Michele Chiarato (“Hammond” organ and “Rhodes” piano), Gianpaolo Gallian (drums) and
Giorgio Zampirollo (drums). |

| “Nic-G and the Mogsy” nasce come progetto musicale nel 2004 per volontà di Nicola Gardinale (chitarrista e compositore), già artefice negli anni ’90 di tre apprezzati dischi con il gruppo hard rock/progressive “A PIEDI NUDI” editi dall’etichetta sanremese “Mellow Records” (A Piedi Nudi–1993; Creazione–1995; Eclissi–1997). |

| Con gli “A Piedi Nudi”, Nicola Gardinale intraprende un’intensa attività live, culminata nel 1998 con la partecipazione alla prestigiosa kermesse di genere “Prog Day” svoltasi nel North Carolina (USA) ed i successivi concerti agli “Orion Studios” di Baltimora (USA) e “Black Jack” di San Paolo (Brasile). |

| Per l’attuale progetto “Nic-G and the Mogsy” ed il consolidamento della svolta artistica, fondamentale è l’incontro con Alessandro Zaia (bassista ed arrangiatore) e Massimiliano Ferrari (potente e caratterizzante voce della prima formazione dei già citati A Piedi Nudi) con i quali, Nicola Gardinale avvia la realizzazione del primo album omonimo, registrato presso il “New Frontiers Recording Studio” di Ugo Bolzoni ed edito, anche questo, da Mellow Records. |

| Il lavoro conta 10 brani originali, il cui spirito, volto alla contaminazione tra generi (blues, rock, funky e pop), colora un album innovativo, vitale e decisamente imprevedibile. |

L’attuale formazione vede Gian Matteo Lucchin alla batteria e Claudio Lupo alle tastiere.
